I crafted 400 yellows bows and upgraded them to legendaries via the Cube, with the goal of getting a good ancient Yang's Recurve. In this video, you can see what the process of Upgrading Yellows to legendaries looks like and how it compares to the Reforge Legendary recipe, backed up with some math to outline the advantages and disadvantages of both. I was trying out the Kanai's Cube a little bit on the PTR, and I decided to show my results and explain the two different paths of item progression that open up with it in patch 2.3. Reason for not including it in the title is that for weapons/offhands/jewelry, you want to have 3-4 perfect stats, which is extremely difficult to get so primal versions of these are clearly superior (except when they are worse) for end game.I've shared this video on my Youtube already a couple of days ago, and from the feedback I've heard I thought it might be a good idea to share it here as well. Simplest fix is to add several difficulty setting for Adventure Mode so we have T14, T15, T16, T17 (65, 70, 75, 80) and you'd get 17, 18, 19, 20 mats.Įdit: obviously, I meant primals/decently rolled ancients. Why is it considered a good design choice? The best way of getting gear to push GR120 is by doing equivalent of GR60? It does not make sense to me. Still, you have much better chance of getting godly gear by doing boring T13 bounties, where you're immune to damage, practically speaking, and the most challenging part is to find the location. So, you get 10-12 fangs by reforging, 1 of which happens to be ancient (10% chance), none are primal. Now, if you decide to do bounties with a slow group, you gain 50-70 materials in the same amount of time. So, you do 20 runs and get 3 fangs (I'm being generous here, it's RNG after all). Say, you have necro who can solo GR100 under 5 minutes.
